The Hudson Candy Factory in Troy, NY is located at 161 River Street. It is a historic mixed use event venue hosting weddings, parties, corporate events, fundraisers, showers, private dinners, graduations, Quinceañeras, repasts, and live music, in our building which dates back to 1798. The venue offers versatile space with two bars, a stage, flexible set ups for dance floor, tables, DJ, photo booth and lounge set ups, or whatever you can think of! HCF can accommodate micro-events, configuring the space to feel cozy and also open things up to accommodate seated parties of 125 or more (225 for cocktail style events). While the original building historically housed the Thompson Drug Factory and then the Wustefeld Candy Warehouse, it’s now a modern venue, which was lovingly restored, providing affordable elegance for events, featuring customized catering options, an in-house well-stocked bar, and the option to accommodate outside caterers, right alongside its historic charm and Hudson River backdrop.
Our motto is “For Gatherings of Every Kind” and we carry that through with access to variable rental time slots, flexible day of the week pricing, catering packages built alongside the customer, buffet or plated meals, liquor license and extensive bar. Our experienced service team is always ready to host you.
